In the morning, after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Potala Palace. This gigantic complex, which was the political and religious center of Tibet, rests on a hill and overlooks the city of Lhasa.
You will then visit Jokhang Temple, one of the most important and beautiful Buddhist Temples in Tibet. Barkhor Street which is a circular street surrounding the Jokhang Temple.
On Barkhor Street you will mingle with Buddhist pilgrims, locals, and merchants.
In the evening you will witness Tibetan hospitality firsthand when you have dinner in a local restaurant.
You will have traditional Tibetan foods and the family will entertain you with local songs and dancing.
